Fixed Wire Testing
Periodic Inspection & Testing to BS 7671
Typically:
A Periodic Inspection Report is used to report on the safety
condition of an existing electrical installation.
Every electrical installation deteriorates with use and age. It is
important for the person responsible for the maintenance of the
installation to be sure that the safety of users is not put at
risk, and that the installation continues to be in a safe and
serviceable condition.
Though it may be considered at face value that an existing system
is not of an age to raise concerns over deterioration of wiring, it
may still be necessary to carry out a Periodic Report if changes in
use of the premises have occurred, which have led to, or might lead
to, deficiencies in the installation.
A typical example of this may be a change of
tenancy. |
